SWIMMING, HIKING, & PICNICKING

A little over 100 years ago, the Three Rivers / Mineral King waterfront area was occupied by about 2000 Native Americans.  Little has changed; the water is clean and clear, the land has been developed a bit, but the scenic beauty remains.  The water is pleasant from July to October.  Pack a picnic, swimming gear, and camera before you head out on your adventure.

SEQUOIA & KINGS CANYON NATIONAL PARK

Continue to drive up Mineral King Road for about 20 miles and you will arrive in Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park.  Plan a day trip with a picnic, hiking and sightseeing.  Camp grounds are also available.
